TERRACE BAY, ON – June 16, 2011 at 7:40 a.m. Schreiber Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call of damage to the Terrace Bay Lighthouse, located at Simcoe Plaza. Evidence indicated that unknown persons had broken into the lighthouse causing damage to the structure.
Schreiber OPP have located and arrested one male subject in relation to this investigation. A 20 year old male of Terrace Bay has been charged with break and enter. The investigation is continuing.
Police are asking that anyone with information with regard to this incident call the Schreiber OPP Detachment at 1-807-824-2333 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
