REGIONAL RECOGNITION
Tuesday was a big day for Crossover Video and Games as we got to share our story at the Superior North CFDC conference and AGM. For those who don’t know, it was the Superior North CFDC that provided us with the assistance that we needed to get our store off the ground. It was my pleasure to make a presentation outlining how they helped, and the successes that we’ve achieved as a result of their assistance. I will be forever grateful to Anne-Marie Bourgeault, Lisa Sek and Cosimo Commisso for everything that they did to make Crossover Video and Games a reality!
LOCAL FESTIVAL
The days are nearing for the 2nd annual Marathon Summerfest! Based on last year’s events and this year’s schedule, I would encourage north shore residents to make the drive to Marathon for a day or two of activities. Crossover will be sponsoring and helping with the Drive In movie night where we will also be selling some of our delicious popcorn. We will also have a Teddy Bear up for bids in the Teddy Bear Auction (in support of cancer research). Mark the dates on your calendar- July 1st-10th!
Have a safe week and don’t forget to support your local businesses!
