LIFE AT OUR LADY OF LOURDES CATHOLIC SCHOOL

Thursday, May 26th, a group of students from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School boarded the bus and headed to Terrace Bay where they participated in the Seventh Annual Board -Wide Arts Fair hosted by St. Martin Catholic School. After their “gallery walk”, the students participated in a workshop lead by a local artist. Each group of students was provided with a board and painted a mural to depict some characteristics of their school.
All schools were invited to send some artwork to display at the fair, which was open to the public all day. Many visitors came to the school, to observe the students at work, and to admire the beautiful and unique art displayed. The principals of the nine Catholic schools, who were at their monthly meeting took a few minutes from their lunch break to come and visit the arts fair, and examine the work in progress.
