MPS Students Challenge Law Enforcement
Manitouwadge Public School News
MANITOUWADGE, ON – From time to time our school has been honoured to have some very special guests. This week was no exception when we saw a group of our local law enforcement officers playing volleyball in our gym. Isobel Noble from the Manitouwadge/Marathon Youth Justice Committee organized this volleyball game between a great group of OPP officers and some of our grade 6, 7 & 8 students. We are always more than pleased with this type on interaction between these three groups because we know how important it is for everyone, especially the youth, to know that the police and the Youth Justice Team are positive and approachable forces in their lives. On the grounds that might incriminate us, we won’t be too generous with play by play of the game – but some of those old fogies sure can play volleyball!!!
Thank you so much to the OPP and Ms. Noble for a job well done.
