Mayor Rick Dumas Talks Local & Regional Tourism & Recreation
MARATHON, ON – Monday, May 23rd, OntarioNewsNorth.com Editor Karina Hunter sat with Mayor Rick Dumas, he brought us up to date in regards to his communities’ ongoing projects, the upcoming 2nd annual Summerfest, the opening of the Peninsula Golf Course and more. Dumas explained what local CGPA Pro Brett Redden has on his agenda in regards to promoting and growing the sport of golf both in Marathon and across the region and offered some suggestions in regards to how area golf courses can work with Redden. Mayor Dumas also spoke briefly to the subject of the forestry sector and how Marathon is working to see jobs in the industry return.
