Chill Training Camp Opens
Thunder Bay, ON – The 2011 season has arrived, and May 14th marks the start of Thunder Bay Chill’s official pre-season training camp. Runners-up in last year’s 2010 Premier Development League (PDL) Championship, the Chill will begin their long road back to the finals with an intensive weekend of workouts beginning tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. (EDT).
Training camp will feature a first look at a number of prolific returning players from last year’s team. 2010 PDL leading goal scorer and top point getter, Brandon Swartzendruber, 2010 PDL assist leader, Gustavo Oliveira, Captains Nolan Intermoia and Wilson Neto, goalkeeper Stephen Paterson, and defender Zetroy Robertson are headlining the 2011 roster.
Media and fans are invited to attend the following sessions:
- Saturday, May 14th, 2011
- 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. – Chapples Park
- Sunday, May 15th, 2011
- 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. – Chapples Park
