St. Martin Hosts Math Curriculum Night

TERRACE BAY, ON – Tuesday, March 1st the staff at St. Martin School celebrated World Math Day by hosting a Family Math Night. Each teacher prepared her classroom with various Math centres featuring games related to the Math Curriculum for that specific grade level. All teachers from Grades 1-8 integrated the Promethean Board in their centres in order to demonstrate the value of technology within all areas of the curriculum, including Math. The Kindergarten and Grade 1/2 classrooms had centers and games set up to demonstrate all 5 Math strands that identify the individual grade level expectations. We look forward to the continued participation of all families in these very valuable learning experiences and know that your children appreciate your involvement in their academic life.
