Geraldton, ON – April 23, 2011, Ontario Provincial Police Greenstone Detachment was called to a disturbance at hotel in Geraldton. While on route officers learned that a male had been stabbed and required medical attention.
Police attended at the scene and learned that the male suspect had been asked to leave the hotel by the victim, a physical altercation ensued and the victim was stabbed. The victim sustained minor injuries. The suspect had left the scene upon police arrival.
As a result of the investigation, Jason JESSO, 27 years of age of Geraldton has been charged with the following offences: Assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carry concealed weapon and breach of probation. He has been remanded into custody.
