Life at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School

MANITOUWADGE, ON – Students at Our Lady of Lourdes School joyfully walked the last steps of Jesus on Thursday before they began their Easter weekend. The primary division met in the prayer atrium during the morning to follow Jesus on His way to Calvary. The JK, SK and Grade 3 class did a fantastic job performing the 14 Stations of the Cross for the grade 1 and 2 classes. In the afternoon the junior/intermediate division joined Mme Foucault-Clarks’ and Miss Dzijacky’s classes in a modern day version of this same spiritual journey. With the aid of technology, 17 students presented the Stations of the Cross, using a power point presentation. These presentations were a great beginning to the Easter Paschal Triduum.
