MANITOUWADGE, ON – Our Lady of Lourdes Junior and Senior Kindergarten students attended the Manitouwadge Recreation Centre this Wednesday for their last school skating outing. The students enjoyed a bi-weekly skate at the arena all winter, often accompanied by a class of senior grade students like the grade 7/8. The SKs and JKs made the long journey to the arena by bus to ensure they had plenty of energy left to skate and the time to get back to school at the end of the day as well.
The students will, after the March Break and as weather warms up, be enjoying new activities and plenty of continued adventures outdoors; next week, the JKs and SKs will return to Kiwissa for an encore of the sliding party they enjoyed recently. (CLICK HERE to view photos from that adventure).
