SCHREIBER, ON – During Schreiber’s Carnival Week, the Schreiber Public Library held a Penny Auction and Ugly Sweater Dance challenging participants to wear their ‘ugliest’ sweaters. Ugly is of course a matter of opinion but the Library was quite impressed with how enthusiastic kids were in the efforts to win the title of ‘Ugliest Sweater’. Thanks to every one who participated the event was a success (though a little hard on the eyes!).
