The staff at Crossover Video and Games is pleased to announce that we have received another shipment of our very popular Customer Loyalty Cards. These cards reward our customers for every movie or game rental made at our store. Don’t forget to have your card in hand when you come in to check out this week’s new release titles. There are nine titles in total this week, covering a broad array of genres (including this year’s Academy Award Winner for Best Documentary). Let’s take a look at these titles;
- Jackass 3: starring Johnny Knoxville- The Jackass crew return for the third instalment of their TV show spin-off, where dangerous stunts and explicit public displays rule. (DVD and Blu-Ray)
- Morning Glory: starring Diane Keaton, Rachel McAdams and Harrison Ford- An upstart television producer accepts the challenge of reviving a struggling morning show program with warring co-hosts. (DVD and Blu-Ray)
- The Next Three Days: starring Russell Crowe- A married couple’s life is turned upside down when the wife is accused of a murder and the husband discovers that he has only three days to prove her innocence before she is sentenced to life in prison.(DVD and Blu-Ray)
- A Film Unfinished: A film about an unfinished film which portrays the people behind and before the camera in the Warsaw Ghetto, exposing the extent of the cinematic manipulation forever changing the way we look at historic images. (Documentary)(DVD only)
- Babysitters Beware: starring Danny Trejo- Two kids do whatever they can do to get themselves on the “do not babysit list”. That is until they meet their match with the tough new babysitter (DVD only)
- The Chaperone: starring Triple H- An ex-con on the run from his criminal past, hides out from those he ratted on by chaperoning a field trip to New Orleans. (DVD only)
- Cool Dog: A beloved dog becomes lost in New York City. (DVD only)
- Every Day: starring Liev Schreiber and Helen Hunt- A comedy about a New York City couple in romantic crisis. (DVD only)
- Inside Job: The winner of this year’s Academy Award for best Documentary, Inside Job takes a closer look at what brought about the global financial meltdown. (DVD only)
FOR THE GAMERS:
Dragon Age 2: Dragon Age II tells the story of Hawke, a survivor of the Darkspawn horde’s destruction of Lothering (a village featured in Dragon Age: Origins) who rises to become the Champion of Kirkwall (PS3 and 360).
MLB 11: The Show: Featuring cover athlete Joe Mauer, the 2011 version of the popular franchise allows players to utilize the Pure Analog Control System, which includes analog controls for hitting, pitching, and throwing. The game is also compatible with Playstation Move (PS3).
MLB 11 Baseball Themed Controllers: For the die-hard Baseball fan, Sony has released a baseball themed Dualshock controller in conjunction with the release of MLB 11. The controller is white in color, with red stitch marks around each side. Retail price of the MLB 11 themed Dualshock controller is 56.99.
