SCHREIBER, ON – Reader’s Roost co-ordinator Elsa Figliomeni has combined the popular reading program with a new initiative called “Books are for Eating”, in which children are encouraged to learn about the culinary traditions of other cultures through storybooks. Books are for Eating Program provided by “The Northern Family Food and Fitness Revolution” Healthy Communities Fund sponsored by the Ministry of Health Promotion in partnership with The Family Place-Best Start Centre and the Schreiber Public Library.
