St. Hilary School Hosts Annual Senior/Grandparent’s Tea
RED ROCK, ON – Friday, February 11, 2011, love was in the air at St. Hilary School. Sponsored by St. Hilary’s School Council, a “Valentine Tea” was held for all seniors and grandparents (of the students) in the afternoon.
The gym was filled with happy smiles as valentine decor and student’s art work decorated the gym. Students performed dance, poetry, stories and lots of funny valentine-themed jokes. Tea, coffee and wonderful lunch items filled the tables and were served by the grade 7/8 students. Door prizes were awarded when the guests filled out ballots.
Special thanks to the parents and friends who donated or assisted, and to Terri Nichols, School Council Chair, who organized the event with the assistance of the School Council members.
