ROSSPORT, ON – NIPIGON Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police had advised this morning, at approximately 6:30am, that HIGHWAY #17 approximately 15km West of Rossport was closed due to icy road conditions which caused a tractor trailer unit to jacknife across the highway. The highway remained closed for nearly 3hrs, re-opening at approximately 9:15am.
Police remind motorists to adjust their driving to road and weather conditions.
