TERRACE BAY, ON – Irene Moore, of Terrace Bay has been awarded the James Bain Medallion and named Ontario Public Library Board Member of the Year 2011 by the Ontario Public Library Association.
Moore has served on the Terrace Bay Public Library Board for thirteen years, having been appointed by the township in 1998. She has been elected Chair of the five member board for the last ten years.
Irene recently attended the Ontario Library Association Annual Conference held in Toronto February 2nd to 5th, where she graciously accepted her award at the Ontario Public Library Awards banquet. Congratulations Irene!
