Terrace Bay Downtown Project Update
TERRACE BAY, ON – The Terrace Bay Downtown Revitalization Project continues to move along and should reach 97% completion by February 28, 2011. A second crew of workers will arrive on Wednesday, February 16th to begin erecting the large sidewalk entrance structures beside 1) the LCBO, 2) between Costa’s and CIBC, and 3) between the Pharmacy and Bakery. These structures will be 30-40 feet in height and boldly market the plaza to the visiting public. Also this week, the first crew of workers will begin lifting and putting together the railings and inside of the observation deck platform … we can’t wait to see how the red top will look against the blue skyline.

You will also see the canopy poles begin to be clad over with a routered white hardy board material to give them a consistent look, no matter wood or steel underneath.
