Ontario and Northern Ireland Drivers Can Exchange Licences
Drivers moving between Ontario and Northern Ireland can now exchange their driver’s licences upon relocation without having to take a written or road test.
As of February 3rd, people moving to Ontario from Northern Ireland exchange their valid driver’s licence for an Ontario driver’s licence, as long as vision and medical standards are met.
Partnerships such as these reduce unnecessary testing and help make the transition easier for new residents, while keeping the roads safe for everyone.
