SCHREIBER, ON – Acts of love and showing compassion have both been evident throughout the last month at Holy Angels Catholic School. Holy Angels has shown love by participating in a school fundraiser for The Ladybug foundation. The Ladybug foundation is a campaign for the less fortunate in Canada, which was started in Winnipeg Manitoba by an 11 year old girl Hannah Taylor. Daily events were organized by Miss Kruse and her grade 5/6 class. The events that took place in the spirit filled school to bring in donations were; crazy hair day, a bake sale, PJ day, hat day and taking part in the Red Scarf Day Walk.
We would like to congratulate and thank all the staff, students and families who participated in raising $664.82 in donations for the less fortunate. What an amazing way to show how one school can truly make a difference in the lives of other. You should all be very proud.
