MANITOUWADGE PUBLIC SCHOOL NEWS
MANITOUWADGE, ON – As has been the custom for many years now on the Friday afternoon of Frosty Days week, our students and staff have been given a reprieve from ‘book learning’ and been encouraged to take advantage of some fun time and select an outdoor activity. Some of our students chose to go the ski hill for the afternoon – with a teacher present. In these pictures the grade 6, 7 and 8 students are lined up and bundled up to go cross-country skiing with Mrs. Turnbull; while Mrs. Kuczynski and her class are having the best of times at the beach snowshoeing, enjoying a bonfire and hotdogs (with a visit from a white furry friend!).
There’s one thing for sure, if you live in Manitouwadge and attend MPS you certainly will graduate and be well trained in outdoor living and survival as well as academics. Our staff strives to make sure that these two go hand in hand to develop these young minds into healthy, well-balanced adults.
