Folk Festival Slogan Contest Looking for Entries
Plans are moving full steam ahead for the 9th annual Live from the Rock Folk Festival to be held August 5-7, 2011 in Red Rock along the shores of beautiful Lake Superior.
The festival is once again inviting the public to submit a slogan to brand 2011’s event. The winner will receive two weekend passes.
The logo design for the festival’s marketing materials is based on the winning slogan, so the winner will see their creativity in action all weekend long. Winning entries from the past include “Meet the Folkers”, “Folk Rendezvous” as well as the 2010 winner “All You Need is Folk!”.
The Live from the Rock website (www.livefromtherock.com) provides detailed information on the festival as well as pictures from past years to serve as inspiration for all those who want to enter.
The contest begins Tuesday, February 1 and entries will be accepted until Monday, February 28 at 5:00 pm. The winning slogan will be voted on by the Live from the Rock Directors and the winner will be contacted once the decision has been made.
