Bringing Montréal Clubbing to the NorthShore
RED ROCK , ON – Last October, Mayor Gary Nelson spoke with OntarioNewsNorth.com about the revival of Teen Town (CLICK HERE for that video interview); since that time Teen Town has been officially re-started, directed by a volunteer executive of teens that came forward. Now, it may be getting some big help in regards to attracting not only Red Rock Teens but possibly those from across the shore of Superior.A dance is being planned for March 19th, timed perfectly to help kick off the March Break -with fog, lasers and live DJ’s it’s sure to be ‘sick’ (ask your teen – they’ll explain) to raise funds for Teen Town.
18 year old Sai Tremblay grew up in Red Rock, after graduating high school he packed his bags and left for life in the big city, landing in Montréal, Québec. During his adventures in La Belle Province, Tremblay met a DJ who taught him how to mix and even let him spin a little on his radio show at Dawson College. Tremblay loved it. The lights, sounds, and energy coming from Montréal clubs, like well known ‘Unity’, inspired him, he imagined bringing it all back to Northern Ontario.
Now back in Red Rock, Tremblay is working towards building a business as renowned DJ, events promoter and organizer. He has connected with an enthusiastic team of volunteers from Teen Town, for what is gearing up to be an incredible party on March 19th in honour of St. Patrick’s Day. His vision continues moving forward. “My goal is to really make some noise” said Tremblay, and of course he doesn’t only mean with the music. “I have discovered three other DJ’s and an independent film maker who inspire to use their talents for work. A dance is a great way to get started” explained Tremblay. The young DJ seems to have a contageous energy, not surprising he’s found a team to stand behind his efforts.
If you’d like to learn more about having Sai and his collaborators at your next event or if you’re a teen looking for a great party, be in Red Rock on March 19 to feel the lights, sounds and energy for yourself. Contact Sai Tremblay via email at lestremblay1@hotmail.com
