14 New Titles TODAY at Crossover – CROSSOVER INSIDER

Lots of variety this week, when referring to our new releases at Crossover Video and Games. Tuesday, February 8^th will see 14 new titles hitting our shelves. Below is a brief summary of each title (in alphabetical order);

By the will of Genghis Khan– Separated from his mother at an early age, Temujin grows up on the run, and with this terrible fate comes torture, uncertainty and loss. Gaining substantial power within his own body Temujin returns to his mother in the hopes of bringing peace back to Mongolia.

I Spit on Your Grave– A remake of a controversial 70’s movie that was so brutal that it was pulled from circulation: A writer who is brutalized during her cabin retreat seeks revenge on her attackers, who left her for dead.

It’s Kind of a Funny Story: starring Zach Galifinakis- A clinically depressed teenager gets a new start after he checks himself into an adult psychiatric ward.

Life as We Know It: starring Katherine Heigl- Two single adults become caregivers to an orphaned girl when their mutual best friends die in an accident.

Middle Men: starring Luke Wilson- Chronicles Jack Harris, one of the pioneers of internet commerce, as he wrestles with his morals and struggles not to drown in a sea of conmen, mobsters and drug addicts.

Monsters– Six years after Earth has suffered an alien invasion, a cynical journalist agrees to escort a shaken American tourist through an infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.

My Soul to Take– A serial killer returns to his hometown to stalk seven children who share the same birthday as the date he was allegedly put to rest.

Paranormal Activity 2– After experiencing what they think are a series of “break-ins”, a family sets up security cameras around their home, only to realize that the events unfolding before them are more sinister than they seem.

Pure Country 2: starring George Strait- Three angels bestow the gift of song to a young girl, who must follow a series of rules in order hold on to it during her rise to fame and fortune.

Romantics: starring Anna Paquin and Katie Holmes- Seven close friends reunite for the wedding of two of their friends. Problems arise because the bride and the maid of honor have had a long rivalry over the groom.

Tamara Drewe– A young newspaper writer returns to her hometown in the English countryside, where her childhood home is being prepped for sale.

Wild Cherry– A high school senior decides to get revenge on her jock boyfriend when she discovers he’s only dating her in hopes that she’ll end up in his teams’ “bang book”.

Wild Target: starring Emily Blunt and Rupert Grint- A hitman tries to retire but a beautiful thief may change his plans.

You Again: starring Jamie Lee Curtis- When a young woman realizes her brother is about to marry the girl who bullied her in high school, she sets out to expose the fiancée’s true colors

14 new titles covering a variety of genres- something for everyone!

Mario fans will be pleased to know that “Mario Sports Mix” is now available at Crossover Video and Games. This new game for the WII features Mario and friends playing sports such as hockey, basketball, dodgeball and volleyball.

Nintendo will be releasing its much anticipated 3DS in March. This handheld gaming system will allow users to play their games in 3D! Initial price is pegged at 249.99 but is subject to change. We will have the 3DS in stock as soon as it’s on the market!

We are pleased to announce the arrival of our new Customer Loyalty Cards. These cards reward our customers for every movie and game that they rent from our store. With each rental, our associate will stamp a square on your card. When each square is stamped, the customer receives a free rental! This is our way of thanking our loyal customers for their continued support!

I’m thrilled to be seeing customers from Manitouwadge, Terrace Bay, White River and other North shore communities coming through our doors to check out our store. We welcome all of our North shore neighbours! If we don’t have what you’re looking for please let us know and we will order it for you!
