Inquest Into The Death Of Christopher Dennis Coaster Postponed

Thunder Bay, ON — Dr. Michael B. Wilson, Regional Supervising Coroner for North Region, Thunder Bay Office, today announced that the inquest into the death of Christopher Dennis Coaster originally scheduled to be held on February 7, 2011 has been postponed.
Mr. Coaster, age 29, died on August 3rd, 2008, while an inmate at the District Jail in Thunder Bay. An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.
The inquest will examine the events surrounding Mr. Coaster’s death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths.
Details regarding the date and location will be announced when the information becomes available.
