Nipigon OPP Seek Assistance
NIPIGON OPP CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE COLLISION
NIPIGON, ON –Nipigon Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Hwy 11 and 17 west of Dorion, Ontario, on December 3, 2010. At approximately 11:50 a.m., a tractor trailer unit and a passenger car collided head on. Police are requesting the public’s assistance to locate the driver of a black or dark grey Dodge Charger that was witnessed driving from the scene of the collision.

NIPIGON, ON –On December 3, 2010 at approximately 11:50 a.m. Nipigon Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision at Hwy 11 and 17, west of Dorion, Ontario. The collision involved a west bound tractor trailer unit and an east bound passenger vehicle. The female driver of the passenger vehicle was air lifted by ambulance from the scene to Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre. Her medical condition is unknown at this time.
Nipigon OPP and the North West Region Highway Safety Division officers are currently at the scene investigating the collision. Hwy 11 and 17 was closed for approximately two and a half hours for the collision and is currently open to one lane of traffic.
