Letter to the Editor,
Many Manitouwadge residents may have seen the new Holland TS110 Groomer parked outside this week. This raised the question if the Sno Drifters were going to start grooming the trails.
Unfortunately there is no change in the status of the club with regards to trails in the Manitouwadge area. They are closed for the season.
This groomer is being relocated to Hornepayne to groom the trails in that area. The A trail from Hornepayne to Hillsport to the Longlac area has been reassigned to the Hornepayne and Longlac clubs respectively, please direct enquires on the trail status to them.
The Sno Drifters encourage all snowmobilers to obey the municipal bylaws and the Motorized Snow Vehicles Act. In particular, stay off the golf course and the cross country ski trails – allow others to safely enjoy the winter in their own way.
