Damage to Vehicles West of Aroland
Greenstone, ON – Greenstone OPP is requesting assistance in regards to a mischief that occurred in between the first day of November and fourth day of November 2010 on the Anaconda Road, just West of Aroland on a motor vehicle. The unknown suspect(s) slashed two tires on a parked motor vehicle.

Driver Charged with Operation of a Vehicle While Impaired by Drug
Longlac, ON – On December 22, 2010, Greenstone OPP conducted a routine traffic stop for sobriety in Longlac. After an investigation, police have charged Jonathan CARTIER, 21 years old of Longlac, ON with impaired operation of a motor vehicle by drug as well as possession of a controlled substance. CARTIER is to appear in Longlac Court on February 23, 2011 to answer to the charges.
The penalty for an impaired operation of a motor vehicle by drugs carries the same penalty as being impaired by alcohol. The minimum is $1000 fine and a one year driving prohibition.
Any drug that changes your mood, or the way you see and feel, will affect the way you drive. This is not only true for illegal drugs. There are prescription drugs and some over-the-counter drugs that can also impair your driving ability.
