Industry Canada Offers Business Webinar
Becoming an entrepreneur with CYBF
The Marathon & District Chamber of Commerce sent an email out to members today advising them of a webinar being held next week. Northern Ontario entrepreneurs have a unique opportunity Wednesday, November 10th, to participate in an online seminar, better known as a ‘webinar’ being offered as part of an ongoing series targetted to young entrepreneurs aged 18 – 34 looking to start a business or generate growth in their existing business. Webinars are good tools for Northern entrepreneurs and business owners, who may not have the time or finances to travel to larger centres where similar seminars are often held.
The Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) is offering the webinar to explain how their loan and mentorship program can help entrepreneurs reach their business goals.
Valerie Bellavance, CYBF‘s Senior Director of Quebec, will explain how CYBF‘s financing programs and national network of partners can assist entrepreneurs and their business and is free to all Canadian residents.
CYBF is a national charity that provides pre-launch coaching, business resources, start-up financing and mentoring to young entrepreneurs, aged 18 – 34, with business aspirations.
The webinar is being offered in English and will take place next Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at 2:00 p.m.; anyone interested in attending should complete a registration form (click on the blue text). Information about the webinar is also available on Industry Canada’s Small Business and Research Policy website page .
