Voting in the Classroom

SCHREIBER, ON – 5,6,7….That was the sound heard on October 22nd in the Grade 5/6 classroom. Miss Kruse counting votes!
It all started on Monday when she announced that we would need to form into parties because we would be having a classroom vote. By the end of the day, we had a total of 6 parties running in our classroom election. Each group worked hard to sell themselves the best. After a week of making speeches and posters, the grade 3/4’s walked through the classroom to listen to our speeches and vote for their favourite and most convincing party. Once the voting was over and ballots were counted the D.J. Party consisting of Jon Mayry and Domenic Costa had won the vote by only one ballot. Congratulations to the D.J. Party.
