FOOD DRIVE CLASSROOM CHALLENGE AT MPS
Life At Manitouwadge Public School
MANITOUWADGE, ON – Wow again to Manitouwadge Public School Students!!!! Like so many times in the past, our students have stepped up to help their community. They ran a food drive classroom challenge for two weeks and this picture show you just how much they care for those less fortunate than themselves. Their kind spiritedness yielded a total of 309 items of non-perishable food for our local food bank. In this picture we have two students from the grade 4 /5 class who very willingly helped load and unload all the food items and the grade 2/3 students whose classroom won the challenge with a total of 10.4 items each.
With Christmas just around the corner, our students felt that our local food bank would be in need of lots of items so off they went with the challenge. Thank you so much to everyone and well done students of MPS – again!
