Police Looking for assistance with 2 Break and Enters
LONGLAC, ON – Between October 28 and November 1, 2010, a home on Forestry Road in Longlac was broken into. The inside the home was damaged.
On November 6, 2010, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Greenstone Detachment received a call about a break and enter that occurred sometime during the night at the Can-Op in Longlac. Extensive damage was done to the building and numerous items were stolen including many food items.

Two arrested for Break and Enters
LONG LAKE 58 FIRST NATION, ON – November 5, 2010, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Greenstone Detachment received a call about 2 break and enters that occurred sometime between November 4 and November 5, 2010. A house on Long Lake 58 First Nation and shed on a neighbouring property were broken both into and numerous electronic items and tools were stolen.
Two males have been arrested in relation with these break and enters. Daniel DESMOULIN, 27 years of age of Long Lake 58 First Nation Territory is charged with 2 counts of break, enter and theft, 2 counts of possession of property obtained by crime and breach of probation. DESMOULIN is currently being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Glen FINLAYSON, 29 years of age of Long Lake 58 First Nation Territory is charged with break, enter and theft and possession of property obtained by crime. FINLAYSON is currently being held in custody.
On November 9, 2010, a search warrant was executed on a home on Long Lake 58 First Nation by the Greenstone OPP. Some items from these break and enter were recovered.
