Hard at work it is 'hands-on' learning such as this that gives students from OLOL a life-long love of learning!
MANITOUWADGE, ON – Students in Grade 3 are busy examining local soil samples in an effort to better understand the composition of soil. Armed with their tools, newspapers, toothpicks and a magnifying lens, students found:
- Pebbles
- Roots
- Seeds
- Mica
- Vermiculite
- Shells
- Insect Larvae.
Jaden was overheard telling a fellow classmate that he felt like he was a CSI. Now that’s cool!
