THUNDER BAY, ON – Last month, the Superior North Catholic District School Board sent 9 primary teachers to the Inspiring Laungauge, Literacy and Learning Among First Nations Children Conference.
Teachers learned about early childhood Development and cultural safety in Practice with children, families and communities presented by Jessica Ball. Speech-Language Pathologist Sharla Peltier did a presentation on understanding First Nation culture and tradition to facilitate early speech, language and literacy development.
