Halloween – Play Safe
Members of your local OPP detachment are reminding drivers to take extra care on Sunday evening as the streets will be filled with ghosts and goblins.
Police are also reminding the kids and parents of a few safety tips to consider:
- Wear bright or reflective clothing – carry a flashlight
- Walk on sidewalks, or facing traffic where sidewalks are not available
- Be aware of traffic – be careful when crossing roads
- Help your parents go through your loot before eating
- Be respectful of lawns and other property while visiting neighbours
