THUNDER BAY, ON –On October 12th, 2010 Drug Enforcement Unit Officers with the assistance of members from the Thunder Bay detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at a residence on Pajamaki Road in Conmee Township.
During the search of the residence officers located 951 grams of marihuana and 1140.00 dollars in Canadian currency. Officers also seized 2 adult marihuana plants and 6 firearms from the property. The street value on the drugs seized is approximately 21,000.00 dollars.
Lauritz Oliver PAJAMAKI (55 years of age) and James Louis WEILBRENNER (46 years of age) of Conmee Township are charged with:
- Production of Marihuana.
- Production of Cannabis Resin.
- Possession of Marihuana for the Purposes of Trafficking.
- Careless Storage of Firearms.
The Combined Forces Organized Crime Unit consists of members from The O.P.P.- Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, The Thunder Bay Police Service, The R.C.M.P., The Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service and The Anishinabek Police Service.
