STUNT DRIVING IN HORNEPAYNE
(HORNEPAYNE, ON.) – On September 19, 2010 Superior East OPP in Hornepayne were patrolling on Leslie Avenue. At 1:05 PM a vehicle approached the cruiser at a high rate of speed and was locked in on RADAR at 105 kph in a posted 50 kph zone. The vehicle was stopped and the male driver was advised of the infraction.
As a result Patrick LEMIEUX age 19 of HORNEPAYNE, Ontario has been charged with Stunt Driving; Fail to Surrender Driver’s Licence and Drive Motor Vehicle – No Valid Permit contrary to The Ontario Highway Traffic Act. The 2010 Mazda he was operating and his Ontario Driver’s Licence have been seized for seven days.
He will appear in Hornepayne Traffic Court on October 18, 2010.
