Pukaskwa Management Plan
Parks Canada is currently reviewing its management plan for Pukaskwa National Park.
Management plans provide broad direction on the protection of natural and cultural resources in national parks, on the visitor experience, and on public outreach education. Signed by the Minister and tabled in Parliament, management plans are the key accountability tool for park stewardship and reporting to Canadians.
At the local level, management plans are an important way to engage Aboriginal Peoples, stakeholders, partners and the general public in shaping the future of each national park.
