(CHAPLEAU, ON.) – On September 20, 2010 at 10:25 pm Superior East OPP in Chapleau were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 101 approximately 40 kilometres west near Shoals Provincial Park. An eastbound Hyundai struck a large moose and entered the ditch. As a result of this collision the lone male driver received fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The deceased has been identified as Michael CAYOUETTE age 23 of SAULT STE MARIE, Ontario. The car was extensively damaged in the collision.
