Crossroads Launches “It’s Your Call”
Viewers Encouraged to Call, Text, or Tweet Live
BURLINGTON, ONTARIO – September 2, 2010. Brand new this fall is the Crossroads Christian Communications Inc. (CCCI) nightly ministry program It’s Your Call live from 1:00-2:30 a.m. on CTS. Host Rob Melnichuk will encourage viewers to call, text, or tweet to engage in honest dialogue about life, where they will discover the value and purpose of a relationship with Jesus Christ.
“Crossroads recognizes the importance of programming during the night since people with deep cares are often awake and searching for answers to life’s questions,” says Don Simmonds, CEO of Crossroads. “It is in these moments that many viewers have made personal decisions to follow Christ and received practical help in other ways”. It’s Your Call will increase this impact by airing earlier and using interactive technologies to communicate.”
It’s Your Call will have a young adult emphasis on Friday nights, but typically engages with people from a broad age range, with differing backgrounds, at all stages of their spiritual journey. The program content will encourage a worldview as seen through the eyes of Jesus Christ.
In addition to this new Crossroads ministry program, its flagship ministry program 100 Huntley Street will move to a new time on CTS at 11:00 a.m. daily and repeated at 9:00 p.m.
