Couchie hosts impromptu concert

PIC RIVER, ON – Aboriginal Singer Songwriter Bonnie Couchie has announced an impromptu concert this evening at the Pic River Guest Suite (aka House w/the Blue Tin Roof) which has quickly grown to include several other artists who could not resist Couchie’s last minute invitation.

Here is the announcement she shared with OntarioNewsNorth.com this afternoon:

“We thought it would be fun to wrap things up with a little concert of the show that Binaeshee and I put together for the Folk Festivals that we played at this year. Then my friend, the fabulous and talented Annabelle Chvostek, (formerly of the “Wailin Jennys) agreed to do a special guest appearance and Binaeshee’s grampa Lambert also agreed to do a few special tunes. So now it’s a tea and music party starting at 8pm and going until 9:30 or ten tonight. So please come out if you would like to hear the show.  There is no cover charge! CDs will be available for sale. Hope to see you there!
Thanks, Bonnie “
