Bidding at Moose Hall
MARATHON, ON – Would-be bidders gathered at the Moose Hall, Wenesday, August 25th hoping to score some great deals at a new furniture and electronics auction.
Tru Liquidators, a Southern Ontario business, travel North only once every 5 yrs or so and have earned a reputation for offering quality products at a really great price-point; this coupled with a need for many Northshore residents to find budget-friendly shopping options during these difficult economic times, meant the hall filled quickly with residents from not only Marathon but also nearby Manitouwadge and Pic River.
Among the great deals which residents walked away with were leather sofa sets which sold for as little as $475/peice, large 10×8 area rugs which went out the door for just $100 and massive 14+ peice dining room sets for less than $3000! Attendees had a great time interacting with the auctioneer who kept things light and fun, teasing bidders about their taste in decor and making jokes throughout.
Thankfully the Tru Liquidators team was able to wrap up the evening much earlier than the evening prior in Terrace Bay when loading was not complete until almost 4am.
