MARATHON, ON – This Friday, July 9th the Marathon Gymnastics Club hosted two consecutive Youth Dances at the Moose Hall; the first was from 6:30 – 7:45 pm for children up to Grade 3, the 2nd from 8 – 11pm was for kids from Grades 4 – 8.
Louise Blanch wanted to thank Barrick Hemlo on behalf of the Gymnastics Club for having donated the chips which were sold along side the club’s other canteen items; pop, chocolate bars and very popular glow sticks.
Local DJ “Music by Todd” kept the kids bouncing throughout the night as did Gymnastics Coach Amanda Blanch, who worked as a chaperone, dancing along side the kids for most of the evening. Other chaperones included Coach Connie Ross and Moique Currie.
