Oxycodone & Cash seized in Thunder Bay Bust

Toronto man arrested and returned to Thunder Bay to face drug charges.
THUNDER BAY, ON – On the 30th day of June 2010, Drug Enforcement Unit officers arrested three people at a north side motel. They seized quantities of oxycodone and cash. (See Original Press Release Below)
As a result of follow up investigation, officers were able to identify a male residing in North York, Ontario who they believe is a central figure in the movement of Oxycodone into the Thunder Bay area.
Drug Enforcement officers from Thunder Bay flew to Toronto July 13, 2010 and with the assistance of officers from that area executed a search warrant at a North York Residence and took an adult male into custody.
During the search police seized an additional $ 13,000 cash and documentary evidence.
Police flew the male back to Thunder Bay where he is presently in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
Charged with being in Possession of Proceeds of Crime and Trafficking in Oxycodone is:
Jabir KHAN 37 years of North York ON.
ORIGINAL RELEASE:
An investigation into the alleged sale of Oxycodone pills has resulted in the seizure of 1,200 – 80 mg Oxycodone pills with an estimated value of $96,000. Approximately $60,000 in cash was also seized in two rooms at the Landmark Inn in Thunder Bay on June 30, 2010.
Drug Enforcement Unit officers arrested two males and female at the Landmark Inn in connection with the investigation.
20 year old Clinton Nicholas NETEMGESIC of Thunder Bay is charged with Proceeds of Crime Exceeding $5,000. NETEMGESIC has a court date of July 9.
36 year old ————— and 32 year old Brandie MOSHER are charged with Proceeds of Crime Exceeding $5,000 and Trafficking. Both are from Toronto. Both have been held in custody.
The Combined Forces Organized Crime Unit consists of members from The Thunder Bay Police Service, The O.P.P.- Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, The R.C.M.P., The Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service and The Anishinabek Police Service.
