MALE CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED BY DRUG
(MARATHON, ON.) –On July 14, 2010 at 02:25am the Marathon OPP responded to a call of a possible impaired driver on Highway 17 in Marathon Township.
The motor vehicle was located at the Peninsula Inn with 2 occupants. After officers spoke to the driver and an investigation was conducted, it was determined that the driver was impaired by drug.
The male driver, Steven Callihoo, age 27 of Edson, Alberta was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle by Drug and Fail to Comply with Undertaking or Recognizance.
Callihoo was remanded into custody and transferred to Thunder Bay District jail were he will appear July 15, 2010 before Thunder Bay Criminal Court in regards to these charges.
