Nitam Giigidowin Project Will Have Kids Talking

An innovative initiative aiming to improve the speech and language health outcomes of preschool First Nation children living in the communities of Ginoogaming, Fort William, and Long Lake #58 First Nations will be officially launched next week.
Friday June 18, community Chiefs, service providers, agency representatives, and clients will gather at the Fort William First Nation Community Centre for the launch of the Nitam Giigidowin Project. Attendees of the launch will learn more about what the Nitam Giigidowin Project entails and how it is improving the health and well-being of children living on-reserve in the District of Thunder Bay
The Nitam Giigadowin Project is made possible through a unique partnership between the TBDHU, Dilico and the three First Nations communities.
