New Head of Ontario Police Chiefs Appointed

McGuinty Government Congratulates New President Robert P. Herman

The Ontario government congratulates Chief Robert P. Herman of the Thunder Bay Police Service on his appointment as the 59th president of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP).

In 2005, he initiated a Diversity in Policing project, which included biased free policing training for all Thunder Bay Police Service members. Chief Herman is past chair of the Criminal Intelligence Service of Ontario and has held a number of positions within the OACP during his career.
