Manitouwadge Celebrates 1st Day of Summer
Annual 1st Day of Summer Celebrations

MANITOUWADGE, ON – JUNE 21, 2010 – Residents gathered on the lawn in front of the Oasis Pool at the Recreation Centre centre last night for Manitouwadge’s Annual First Day of Summer Celebration.
The Leisure Services Department organized the popular event which included a barbecue and games at the Pool. Families stretched out on blankets in the grass, children going back and forth to the pool, where the fence was open to facilitate entry/exit.
It was a great treat to have the weather cooperating as last year inclement weather had forced the event to be postponed and included with Canada Day festivities (which were also delayed until July 3rd).
