Harmony Club Happenings
WHITE RIVER, ON – June 19th, 2010 – Members of White River’s Harmony Club, gathered to face off at cards this Saturday evening. They were, as always, very welcoming when I arrived and happy to fill me in on the Club’s latest news as they played bid Euchre.
I asked about the Harmony Club members’ plans in regards to the upcoming Actifest 2010 weekend in Oshawa. Among those who qualified at the District 3B Senior Summer Games, are 6 who will be making the trip, to compete provincially (+ one athlete’s guest), by bus together along with a deligation from Manitouwadge. Thanks in part to the support of their local clubs and Barrick Hemlo, the only cost participants have personnally is that of one night’s accomodations and meals. Good Luck to all our Northshore Seniors participating at Actifest 2010.
