Celebrating Canada Day in the Nations Capital
Note From the Editor of OntarioNewsNorth.com…
Here I would’ve liked to let you all know how municipalities from Dorion to Dubreuilville, the towns of the Northshore, would be celebrating THEIR Canada Days this year so you could make plans to attend your local events (if there are any). I had infact contacted the majority of the 16 townships for which I provide daily news coverage, offering EDOs, CDOs, and others the opportunity to post information regarding their plans for Canada Day on a FREE page hosted here on OntarioNewsNorth.com to have it all in one place for residents and, because we are on line here, also sharing with the world what wonderfully vibrant communities we live in. Unfortunately, NOT A SINGLE ONE responded – shame on them! The thousands of daily visitors to OntarioNewsNorth.com are left to read about what they can do if they are travelling to the nation’s capital for Thursday’s celebrations… What can you do about this? Call your township, ask why you can’t find the info you are looking for in your regional community newspaper and tell them where you are reading! I thank all of you or reading your news on www.OntarioNewsNorth.com but now we need your townships to realize this is where you come for info and begin using all the services offered to them (ESPECIALLY THOSE WHICH ARE FREE!) here in the pages of your 24/7 Regional COMMUNITY Newspaper – LET THEM KNOW!
