This year some of our students have been enjoying the pleasures of being part of a ‘Book Club’ at our school library.
Students have been reading, reading, and reading. This week they had their windup in the library where they each were able to ‘cash in’ the tokens they earned – one token for each book read. An especially avid reader in the group was Spencer Belanger who received a certificate for the most books read before the cutoff date. Spencer read a total of 17 books and has continued to read even more since then!
It certainly is a pleasure to see students who are learning the value and enormous wealth that comes from reading. Keep up the good work everyone!
